Digital Marketing Associate
& Intern
FULL TIME
Digital Marketing Interns are responsible for coordinating and executing the AWB’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This role offers a total immersion into all of our programs and successful candidates will work closely with key members of our staff, external social media consultants and partnering organizations in order to execute on our initiatives.
This role is instrumental in increasing our social media presence and overall visibility for our organization.
Role reports to:
- Director of Marketing & Communications
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Create social media campaigns to engage and grow our community of fans/followers
- Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns
- Track and monitor social media metrics
- Develop press releases and human-interest stores for assigned sports topics
- Develop content exclusive to Athletes Without Borders sponsors and donors
- Collaborate with other internal departments on projects and assignments
- Enrolled in an accredited College or University
- Detail-oriented, Organized, Self-motivated and Focused on Success
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills (including proofreading), Reporting, Multi-tasking
- Experience and/or demonstrated interest on social media trends and best practices
- Performs well in environment that values creativity, flexibility and variety
- Experience with Excel
- Familiarity with Photoshop a plus
- Video creation/editing experience a plus
- Knowledge of sports industry a plus
- Internships with Athletes Without Borders are unpaid, part time positions that provide valuable hands on experience with real projects… solving real problems.

Programs & Operations Associate & Intern

TIME
Program Marketing Interns are responsible for critical tasks related to planning and executing organization initiatives. This role will allow you assist and take an ownership stake in major projects and gain real world work experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment and be team oriented, technically savvy and visually creative.
We’re looking for a go-getter with an analytical mind, out-of-box/innovative thinker, coupled with marketing savvy.
Role reports to:
- Director of Programs & Operations
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of all events
- Production / distribution of event promotional materials, entry forms, feedback forms, etc.
- Assist with telephone marketing to attract participants
- Develop event sponsorship proposals and promotional materials
- Develop press releases and human-interest stores for assigned sports topics
- Create and execute on marketing campaigns and advertising initatives
Desired Qualifications include:
- Enrolled in an accredited College or University
